Steven Palmer, 23, Bismarck, died September 14, 2015, in a motor vehicle accident. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2:00 PM at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Steven was born on January 30, 1992, in Dickinson, ND, the son of Terry Palmer and Denise Walker. Steven was an awesome kind, caring, hard-working kid. He loved working on carpentry projects. He was given the nickname "digger" because he was always wanting to keep his hands busy. Steven was working on the church in Selfridge at the time of his death. Steven enjoyed hanging out with his friends at the river, 4-wheeling, fishing, skateboarding, playing pool. He liked to laugh, be silly and dance. Whether Steven was washing dishes, cleaning or working he always had a tune in his mind and would sing. His sisters and friends have sung and danced with him. His special in dancing was a "belly roll". He also enjoyed family vacations and get-togethers. Steven is survived by his mom, Denise Walker of Mandan; his dad, Terry Palmer of Bismarck; his step-dad, Darrion Sorenson of Bismarck; his sisters, Kaylee Palmer of Bismarck, Kyla Palmer of Mandan; his brothers, Jadon Sorenson of Wilton, Franky Leingang, Fargo, ND, Greg Leingang, Bismarck, ND, Chris Leingang, Dickinson, ND; his grandparents, Valorie and Russ Singer;his uncles, Londell Walker of Dunn Center, ND, and Lance Walker of Englewood, CO; his aunts, Arlene Braun of Douglas, WY, Machelle Torpy of Spearfish, SD, Daunita Walker of Denver, CO, Nadine Walker of Mandan, ND, and Naomi Walker of Columbia Heights, MN; Georgia and (Norm) Heupel, Tuttle, ND; many cousins; and special friends. He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Art Walker; his grandma, Myra Phillips; his great-grandparents; his great-aunts and great-uncles; and his infant son, Brycen. "Steven, you will be missed, you have fun being a daddy"
