Leann Turnbow, 57, Bismarck, died November 29, 2015, peacefully at home. Services will be held at 10:30 am Thursday, December 3, at Zion Lutheran Church, 413 Ave D East, Bismarck, with Rev. Thomas R. Marcis, Jr. officiating. Cremation has taken place. Burial will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck. Leann was born April 15, 1958, in Bismarck, ND, the daughter of Raymond and Betty (Schiermeister) Martel. She grew up and attended schools in Bismarck. Following graduation from high school, she attended Bismarck Junior College. On January 12, 1979, she married Kevin Turnbow at Zion Lutheran Church in Bismarck. For the past 30 years, she performed accounting and bookwork for the family business. Her greatest love in life was being a mom and grandma to her two sons and four grandchildren. She enjoyed her pets, spending time outside, and the San Francisco 49ers. She also enjoyed her many travels across the United States and the World. Leann is survived by her husband, Kevin, Bismarck; her two sons, Cole (Sara), Eagan, MN, and Trinity (Lindsay), Bismarck; her four grandchildren, Ian and Paige Turnbow and Isabella and Addison Turnbow; her father, Raymond; her brother, Darald, and her sister, Terry (Gary) Decker, all of Bismarck; and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty.
