Irene Zottnick, 86, Bismarck, died February 20, 2016, at Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center, Bismarck. Services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, February 25, at Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center, Bismarck, with Rev. Rebecca Aardahl officiating. Burial will be held at St. Katherine’s Cemetery at Braddock, ND. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm Wednesday, February 24, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck. Irene, daughter of Anton and Mary (Feist) Mock, was born at home February 3, 1930, in Onaka, SD. Irene moved from South Dakota at the age of 10 to a farm near Kintyre, ND. In 1948 Irene married Ernie Zottnick. Irene is survived by her children, Bruce (Beckie) Zottnick, Colleen (Fred) Wahl; her daughter-in-law, Barb (Doug) Zottnick; her nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Irene was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Doug; her grandson, Ryan; Ernie Zottnick; her brothers, Leo and Frank (Carol) Mock; and her sister, Betty (Carl) Kuipers.
