Darlene Kay Schmitcke, 68, Moses Lake, WA, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2016, in Moses Lake. A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 2:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Bismarck. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 9:00 – 11:00 AM at Eastgate Funeral Service in Bismarck. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens Chapel. Darlene was born on December 11, 1947, in Bismarck, ND, the daughter of the late Victor and Amanda (Holweg) Wyant. She married Larry Schmitcke on June 16, 1967. The couple moved to Washington State in 1973 and to Moses Lake in 2003. Darlene is survived by her husband, Larry Schmitcke of Moses Lake, WA, and her son, Bradley Schmitcke of Tacoma, WA.
