Marty Fischer, 65, Bismarck, passed away July 23, 2016. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, July 27, at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan. Cremation has taken place. Marty was born in Elgin, ND, on April 12, 1951, the daughter of August and Alvina (Delzer) Friesz. She graduated from high school in Plains, MT. She married Daryl Fischer on April 5, 1972, in Bismarck. Marty is survived by her daughters, Cari (John) Lucier, and Heather (Jason) Kramer; her grandchildren, Tyler Kramer, Brandon Lucier, and Ciara Lucier; her great-grandchild, Anthony Jay Lucier; her sisters, Bertha Hirning, Ida (Karl) Kufeldt, Violet Dahle, Pauline LaPointe; her brothers, Emmanuel (Sandra) Friesz, and Richard Friesz. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daryl, who passed away March 10, 2016; her grandson, Trevor Jay Lucier; her parents, August and Alvina Friesz; her brother, Rudy Friesz; and her sister, Ella Friesz.
