Nicholas A. Sikes, born April 20, 1980, was called home to be with his Lord on Friday, September 23, 2016. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 29, at 7:00 PM at Bismarck Baptist Church, 2211 Laforest Ave. Fellowship time following the service. A memorial service will be held in Ames, IA, on Monday, October 3, at 6:30 PM, at Christ Community Church on 5501 George Washington Carver Ave. Fellowship time following the service. Nicholas was employed by Emerson Process Management in the oil and gas industry. He was active at Bismarck Baptist Church and Century Baptist Church in Bismarck, sat on the Board of Martin Luther School, and flew for the North Dakota Civil Air Patrol. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer, and their daughters, Elizabeth and Nichole. A scholarship fund for the children of Nicholas Sikes has been established at Dakota Community Bank in Lincoln and Bismarck.
