Margaret “Marge” Thomas, 94, Bismarck, died October 26, 2016, at St. Vincent Care Center, Bismarck. Services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, November 5, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck, with Rev. Dale Nabben officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:30 – 2:30 pm Thursday, November 3, at St. Vincent Care Center, and from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Friday, November 4, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck. Marge was born August 7, 1922, in Rural Glen Ullin, ND, the daughter of Anton and Eleanor (Steckler) Ehrmantraut. She married Henry Thomas on July 1, 1947, and five children were born to this union. She worked at Glen Ullin Nursing Home. Marge loved to read and care for her flower beds. She was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church. Marge is survived by her daughters, Judy Standish and Connie (Wayne) Kurle; her sons, Dwight “Rocky” (Adela) Thomas and Dean “Skip” Thomas; her sisters, Lee Calheim, Betty Anderson, and Ellie Powers; her brothers, Dominic Ehrmantraut, John (Darlene) Ehrmantraut, and Ben (Pauline) Ehrmantraut; ten grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; and special friends, Ron, Lorraine, Lisa, Jason, Susan and Michelle Dressler, and Robyn Atkinson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry; her son, Gregory Thomas; two grandsons, Jeff and Paul Thomas; four brothers; and her parents. The family wishes to give a special thank you to the staff of St. Vincent Care Center for their care of Marge.
