Helen Bullinger, 84, Mandan, passed away on April 30, 2017, at Prospera Community Care Center in Mandan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 10:30 AM at Spirit of Life Catholic Church in Mandan. Burial will be at Mandan Union Cemetery. A vigil service will be held on Thursday at 7:00 PM at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck. Helen was born on February 11, 1933, to Nick G. and Anna Berger in Solen, ND, where she was raised and attended school. She married Wendelin Bullinger on March 28, 1951, making their home in Mandan. Helen is survived by her husband of 66 years, Wendelin; their four children, Dennis (Sandy) Bullinger, Sandra (Henry) Hurst, Wendelin Jr. (Donna) Bullinger, and Violet (Todd) Marshall; twelve grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; one brother, Leonard (Helen) Berger; and one sister, Alvina Helfrich. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nick and Anna Berger; two sisters, Magdeline and Deloris; one brother, William; and one grandson, Andy Bullinger.
