Aaron Joseph Keller, Mandan, passed away on November 23, 2023, at the age of 25.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM, Wednesday, Nov. 29, at Ascension Catholic Church, 1825 S 3rd St, Bismarck.

The family will greet guests from 5:00 – 7:00 PM, Tuesday, Nov. 28, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Pkwy, Bismarck. A rosary/vigil will begin at 7:00 PM. All are welcome to attend these services and pay their respects to a remarkable young man who has left an impact on our lives.

Aaron was born on January 28, 1998 to Rick and Joni Keller in Glendive, Montana. He brought joy and laughter to everyone he encountered throughout his life. He will be remembered for his great smile, quick wit, and dedication to his loved ones.

Aaron attended Bismarck Public Schools, graduating from Bismarck High in 2016.

In his professional life, Aaron worked with his partner, Mikayla, as a real estate team for Realty One Group - Encore, where he showcased his passion. Known for his exceptional skills in renovating and flipping properties, Aaron had an innate talent for turning houses into homes. He approached every project with enthusiasm and a determination to excel. Anything that Aaron set his mind to, he achieved, most of the time using YouTube as his guide and his Dad and Jamie (Mikayla’s Father) as mentors.

Beyond his career aspirations, Aaron had a range of hobbies and interests. He enjoyed poker and playing cards with friends and family which most often involved some type of wager. Aaron possessed a competitive spirit and loved engaging in activities such as cornhole, pickleball, and going to the gym. One of his proudest accomplishments was completing the 75 Hard Personal Development Program. He found solace reading numerous books, listening to podcasts, and enjoyed spending time at the river with his family, along with camping at Blue Lake, a favorite spot for Mikayla’s relatives.

Aaron may no longer be with us physically, but his spirit will forever radiate love in our hearts. He touched the lives of many and leaves behind cherished memories that time will never diminish. As we mourn this devastating loss, let us also celebrate the remarkable life that Aaron lived—a life filled with laughter, resilience, and love for those who meant the most to him.

Aaron is survived by his parents, Rick and Joni Keller; siblings, Brittany (Lance) Mills and Kaylee (Brady) Schwartz; nieces and nephews, Easton, Everly, Eden, Jack (Godchild), and Nova (Godchild); Grandma, Vickie Keller; soulmate, Mikayla Hoynes and their dog, Nala; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Aaron is preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard & Genevieve Diebel, John Keller; and his cousin, Cody Carnes.

Aaron bravely faced mental health challenges until the very end, never giving up in his courageous battle. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Aaron's name to The Round Table: A Children’s Mental Health Association, 1701 S 12th St, Bismarck, ND 58504.
