Addison Michelle Mills, 19, passed away June 10, 2026 in Bismarck, ND.

Addi was born July 4, 2006 in Caldwell, ID to Tyler and Aubrey Mills. As a child, Addi had a very curious mind. She loved learning and was able to recall information readily. She was an avid reader and enjoyed getting lost in fantasy books. Addi loved nature and being outside. She was particularly fond of birds and spent her spare time bird watching. She had a way with animals and was able to catch most critters she set out to capture. Her nurturing disposition was readily displayed with animals.

Addi was the oldest child in her family and led the way in seeking a challenge wherever it could be found. She bonded with her siblings most on adventures: climbing anything that could be climbed, exploring mountains during camping trips, many road trips, and a few tropical cruises. Along the way, she always shared random facts and information she had gleaned.

Addi looked forward to traveling and experiencing new things. She was a foodie and was bold in trying just about anything. She had dreams of flying to several destinations throughout the world and also enjoyed a good road trip. She loved concerts and was self-taught on the guitar. She was passionate about plants and had a variety of species. She found joy in sharing her knowledge of lesser-known types. Addi was artistic and talented at drawing. She enjoyed creating delicious food and sharing it with those she loved.

On March 4, 2026 Addi married the love of her life, Ryker Duffin, in Billings, MT. They made their home in Bismarck, ND. She was a very good, selfless, and caring wife. She was attentive to the needs of those around her and made an effort to take care of the people she loved at home and at work.

Addi will be remembered as creative, independent, generous, kind, hardworking, witty and thoughtful. She faced many challenges in life and eventually grew tired of fighting. Our hearts are broken that she is no longer here with us, but we find comfort that she has found the peace she sought for years.

Addi is survived by her husband, Ryker Duffin; her parents; her siblings, Ruger, Lincoln, Paislen, Lander, and Willow Mills; grandparents, Kim and Kathy Mills and Beverly Teichert; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her Papa, Douglas Teichert.
