Agnes Hoff

Agnes Hoff, 88, Bismarck, passed away November 22, 2022.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, November 25, 2022, at Eastgate Funeral Service, 2302 E Divide Ave, Bismarck. The visitation will be from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Friday at Eastgate Funeral Service.

Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bismarck.  

Agnes was born on May 5, 1934, in Center, ND. She grew up and attended school in Center. As the oldest child of her family, she had to raise many of her siblings.

She married Matt Hoff on Oct. 28, 1953, and to this union five children were born. Family was very important to Agnes, she loved being able to stay home and care for her kids.

Agnes enjoyed playing bingo with family and friends, attending many St. Mary’s sports, rummage sales, jigsaw puzzles and playing cards. She often attended her children and grandchildren’s activities. The annual trip to Medora was always a highlight of her year.

Agnes is survived by her children, Kim (Marilyn) Hoff, Darcy Hochhalter, Keary (Verna Hoover) Hoff, Kirk (Tami) Hoff, and Ken (Melanni) Hoff; grandchildren, Kim Hoff Jr., Corey Hochhalter, Eric Hochhalter, Brent Hoff, Andrew Hoff, and Kaitlyn Ohlhauser; great-grandchildren, Ashley Ruppert, Kim Matthew Hoff III, Samarra Hoff, Brooklin Hochhalter, Keegan Hochhalter, Braelynn Hochhalter, Oaklen Hochhalter, and one more on the way; great-great-grandchild, Phoinix Ruppert; siblings, Louis, Rick, Shirley, and Aldora; and many nieces and nephews.

Agnes was preceded in death by her husband, Matt; son-in-law, Terry Hochhalter; and five siblings.
