Alane Mae Tosseth, 68, passed away March 18, 2024 at CHI St. Alexius. 

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, March 22, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Pkwy, Bismarck. 

Family will begin greeting guests one hour prior to the service. 

Burial will be held at Sunne Lutheran Cemetery in Wilton, ND. 

Alane was born on June 27, 1955 to Norman and Grace (Moen) Tosseth. 

Due to her disability from birth, she attended Anne Carlsen School in Jamestown, ND for many years. She had some schooling in Minot. While there, she participated in special olympics. Alane moved to an apartment in Bismarck across the street from her sister, Gloria who was her caregiver and companion. 

Later years, she moved to a group home where the Enable staff cared for her. Alane’s joy in life were her trips to Arizona to visit her nephew, Todd and family. 

Alane is survived by her brothers, Gary (Maretta), Bismarck and James (Nicole), Wilton; sister, Jennifer (Jeff) Heilman, Wilton; nieces, Jill, Stephanie, Geri and Jade; nephews, Tanner, Logan and Jaxon; and special nephew, Todd Tosseth, his wife, Jennifer and their daughter, Evie. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Gloria.
