Allan Peterson, 93, died June 30, 2019, at Sanford Sunset Drive Care Center, Mandan.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, July 3, at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan.

Allan was born October 9, 1925, in Edinburg, ND, the son of Morris and Agnes Peterson. He grew up and attended school n Edinburg. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Following his graduation from Concordia College he began his career as a school teacher.

Allan is survived by his wife, Beverly, Mandan; brother, Elmer (Carol), Brooklyn Center, MN; sister, Eva Johnson, Park River, ND; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Mark; and his sister, Alice.
