Amy Marcella (Schmidt) Zinter, age 66, passed away, unexpectedly, on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at her home in Aldrich, Missouri. 

Cremation has taken place at Holden Cremation & Funeral Services, Sparta, Mo.

Amy was born on January 3, 1959 to Arthur and Edyth (Mock) Schmidt in Minot, ND. Amy was the fourth child of six siblings. She graduated from Balfour Public School, May 1977 in Balfour, ND. Amy was a very good High School basketball player and cheerleader. Amy was chosen to attend ND Girls State. She became a dental assistant and worked in that field. Later, her career was an industrial painter.

Amy married Daniel Zinter on May, 26, 2007. She had no children. She enjoyed the outdoors, their lake home, hunting, fishing, boating, and riding with her husband on their Harley Davidson motorcycles. She was devoted to her husband. Amy always had a welcoming and kind heart, a fun, loving spirit to her family and friends which was always treasured.

She is survived by her brothers Terry (Linda) Mock, Aldrich, MO, Allen (Tammy) Schmidt, Keystone SD, her sisters, Ava Boknecht, Bismarck, ND and Ada Schmidt, Wasilla, Alaska along with nieces and nephews. She is survived by her In-Laws, John and Tracy Zinter.

Amy is preceded in death by her husband-October 27, 2024, her parents, her brother, Arlee Schmidt, brother-in-law Douglas Boknecht and nephew, Toby Mock.

Amy, a beautiful, kind soul, gone way too soon. Rest in peace, you will not be forgotten! A private memorial service will be held with burial at the Balfour, ND cemetery in the Spring 2026.
