Ashley A. Halsey, age 40, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2025, at home.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM, Friday, July 11, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Pkwy, Bismarck. Family will begin greeting guests at 10:00 AM.
Burial will be held at 1:00 PM at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bismarck.
Ashley was born March 20, 1985, in Bismarck to Sharon Halsey. Ashley graduated from South Central High School as a Salutatorian in 2003 in Bismarck. Ashley loved art since she was a child; she had an art piece in a calendar. She was a major fan of Hello Kitty; she was very artistic, which made life better for those all around her. Ashley was an avid reader. She loved her cat, Jerome, and her sister cat, Jenny.
Ashley is survived by her mother, Sharon Halsey; significant other, Matthew Leibel; aunts, Susie Halsey, Ann (Chris) Vandermeer, Patricia Halsey, Karen Halsey, Debbie (George) Monroy; uncle, David Halsey; cousins, Krisanne Vandermeer, Darlene (Derek) Miller, Christina De Cora, Christopher Vandermeer, Christian Vandermeer, August Vandermeer, Anthony Halsey, George (Jeasy) Monroy Jr., Manuel (Francine) Monroy, Salina Monroy, Melissa Monroy and Matthew Monroy, grandchildren of Ashley Halsey’s aunts, Susie Halsey are Aidan Winn, Eddie Weisinger and Bliss Miller; George and Debbie Monroy are Evelyn, Caleb, Zachary, Diego, Emilia, Liam and Jesse; for Chris and Ann Van Der Meer is Lile Van Der Meer, Avia Van Der Meer, Whitney Agard jr., Wyatt Agard, Westyn Agard, Winstyn Agard, Maverick Agard and Bethanny Twinn; and cousin, Cruz Halsey.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, Jerome and Hazel Halsey; uncles, Mark Halsey and Robert Halsey; cousin, Joey Miranda.
