Ava Solberg, 87, passed away at CHI St. Alexius Hospital on December 21, 2017. Services will be held at 11:30 am Monday, January 8, 2018, at Eastgate Funeral Service, 2302 E. Divide Ave., Bismarck. Cremation has taken place. Burial will be held at 1:00 pm Monday at the ND Veterans Cemetery, Mandan. She was born and raised in Mandan and spent most of her adult life in Bismarck. Ava loved to have her family and friends close. She will be missed. Ava is survived by her son, Robert (Carol); her daughter, Ila, all of Bismarck; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Darwin; and her son, Larry.
