Bertha Renz, 98, Bismarck, went to be with the lord on October 20, 2022.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM, Tuesday, October 25 at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway.

Visitation will be held one hour before the service starts.

Burial will be in Moffit Cemetery.

She was born in Fargo on March 10, 1924 to Olga Bauer. She was raised and educated in Moffit and graduated from Moffit High School.

Bertha’s nickname was Gypsy and she loved to travel. Her greatest pleasure was being with her family.

Bertha was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin; son, Eugene Renz, sisters, Ethel, Marcella, Pearl and brother, Edward.

She is survived by her children, Sharon, (Patrick) Carroll, Marlene Hartje, Kenneth (Jane) Renz, Carol (Jim) Kuykendall, Gary (Corinne) Renz; daughter-in-law, Donna Renz; sister, Dorothy Bradly; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
