Beverly (Geist) Aichele

On March 15, 2024, Beverly went home to meet her Lord and Savior and passed from earth to heaven surrounded by her dear family.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, March 25, at Cornerstone Community Church, 111 E. Wachter Ave, Bismarck. Family will begin greeting guests one hour prior to the service.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM, Sunday, March 24, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Pkwy, Bismarck.

Burial will be held at 3:00 PM at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan.

She was born in Steele, ND, on August 12, 1934, to Albert and Nellie (Wollschlaeger) Geist, the oldest of three children, and Great Grandma Coulter was the midwife. Bev grew up on a farm south of Driscoll, often in a home with many foster children.

Bev graduated from Driscoll High and married the love of her life, Floyd Aichele, on December 22, 1952, in Big Timber, MT. She taught in a one-room schoolhouse in Steele Township and Sterling Township.

A daughter, Tari, and two sons, Larry and Scott, were born into this marriage. The family moved to Washburn, ND and lived there for ten years, operating a gas station.  After moving back to Bismarck, she worked at several jobs but decided to go back to college and became an Addiction Counselor. She worked at the Heartview Foundation for 17 years and at the ND Youth Correctional Center for 12 years.

Her family was her most prized gift.  She always made sure there were cookies and M&Ms to share.  She was an early riser, spending time each morning with her Savior and praying for her family and others’ needs. Bev was a member of Cornerstone Community Church, taught a women’s Sunday school Class for many years, and led worship music. She had many close friends and loved every one of them.

She leaves behind two sons, Larry Aichele and Scott Aichele (Mary Senger) all of Bismarck; seven grandchildren: John Lalonde, Michele (Kadon) Hintz, James (Leah) LaLonde, Kristina (Ryan) Schantz, Austin Aichele, Calvin Aichele, Zachary Aichele; and six great grandchildren: Parker Hintz, Owen Hintz, Hannah Hintz, Winona LaLonde, Mackenzie Schantz, Calin Schantz; her brother Roger (Liz) Geist, plus precious friends, family, and special niece Sherri and family.

Bev was preceded in death by her husband Floyd Aichele, daughter Tari LaLonde, her parents Albert and Nellie (Wollschlaeger) Geist; Sister Marlys Ann; brothers Richard and Adrian (Butch); brothers-in-law Glen Aichele and Leroy Aichele, one sister-in law Luella (Ben) Rath, Sterling, and one grandson, Rusty (RJ) Aichele, special Aunt Esther, as well as in-laws, Jerry Buck and Evelyn Aichele.
