Beverly was born December 23, 1942 to Albert and Annie (Kraft) Christmann in Lehr, ND. She was the third oldest of 16 children and the oldest daughter. She lived on the farm with her family and cared for the younger siblings. In the fall of 1961, she moved to Bismarck after the family moved to Napoleon, ND.
She met Senior Airman Ronald Lyons while working at the Sweet Shop. They were married May 19, 1962 in Napoleon, North Dakota, and were later stationed at Port Lavaca, TX. They were stationed back to Bismarck for a few years before going to Statesboro, GA. In 1972, they moved back to Bismarck and have been here ever since.
Beverly worked for A&B Pizza for 40 years and Prairie Public Bingo for 20+ years. She enjoyed staying busy. Playing bar bingo, going on casino bus tours with Ron and going to grandkids activities were things she liked to do. When the grandkids turned sixteen she would take them to play bingo. She could watch her own cards plus always watched their cards too. She loved to read and do puzzles in her spare time. Watching old westerns, game shows and the polka party on PBS or listening to polka music on the radio were entertaining for her.
She was courageous and a fighter, surviving breast cancer twice. Ovarian cancer was her last battle which she fought for three years.
Beverly is survived by her daughter, Korreena (Neil) Taylor; son, Dan (Nikki) Lyons; four granddaughters, Tabitha (Travis) Talkington, Tausha (Matt) Menaquale, Tawnya (Edward) Taylor-Lietz and Syndey Lyons; grandson, Wyatt Lyons; six great-grandkids, Alexander, Victoria, Christian and Madison Talkington and Sofia and Cameron Menaquale; eight brothers and four sisters.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Lyons; parents, Albert & Annie Christmann; and three sisters.
