Brett Dennis Harr, 20, Steele, passed away Jan. 16, 2022, as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 22 at Steele-Dawson Public School, Steele. Visitation will be held one hour prior at the school. The service will be live streamed on the funeral home website.

Following the service, the family invites you to join them for a luncheon and a time of fellowship at the Lakeside Family Bar & Grill, Dawson.

Burial will be held in the Spring at Woodlawn Cemetery, Steele.

Brett was born on Sept. 25, 2001, to Jeffrey Harr and Tera Harter in Bismarck. He attended Steele Elementary and High School, graduating with the Class of 2020.

He previously worked for Menards and attended Bismarck State College. Brett was currently working as a Welder at DuraTech Industries in Jamestown.

Brett loved spending time outdoors. He was either camping, fishing or hunting. He enjoyed being surrounded by his family and friends. Brett always had a smile on his face and was excited to visit. He will be deeply missed.

Brett is survived by his mother, Tera Harter, Steele; father, Jeffrey Harr, Pettibone; brothers, Evan and Drew; sister, Kyle; grandparents, Ken and Deb Harter, Steele, and Marlin Harr, Pettibone; great-grandmother, Mavis Houghton, Steele; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Marlys Harr.
