Bunny Malm

August 24, 1941 — November 11, 2022

Bismarck

Bunny Jean (Theurer) Malm, 81 of Bismarck joined her Heavenly Father on November 11, 2022.

A memorial service will be at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck.

Family will greet guests from 6:00 – 7:00 PM Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at Parkway Funeral Service, and a prayer service will begin at 7:00 PM.

Bunny was born to Bernard and Bertha (Klein) Theurer on August 24, 1941. She grew up in rural Grant County where the family farmed. She attended Carl #1 Country School through the 8th grade. She met and married Alex (Donnie) Malm on June 28, 1959. They lived in the Flasher area raising two sons, Mark and Craig. She was active in her community, working various jobs throughout her life and was devoted to her faith and family. Her faith and love for people of the community showed in her warm greetings and how she worked hard to make everyone feel special. Along with her varying jobs, she loved being a part of her church in Flasher and eventually became the Superintendent of Sunday School.

Bunny loved nature, plants and bird watching as well as cooking and baking. She baked cookies and bars for the Ronald McDonald house for many years and continued to provide these treats to her family as well. You never left her home without some type of treat in hand!  Her home was always decorated for the season, and she was a wiz at putting flower arrangements together. She loved crafts, puzzles, sewing and traveling. Most of all she loved to keep busy, working as her body allowed and was always generous to others in any way she could make them feel loved.

Bunny was widowed in 1992 and remarried in 1995 to A.Paul Jacobson until 2007 when they parted ways.

Although Bunny was a hard worker and was a servant to the Lord, her pride and joy were her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She loved to talk about her grandchildren and great grandchildren to all as well as show pictures of them. She talked or texted her grandkids on a regular basis.

She is survived by her sons, Mark (Sharon) and Craig (Melodie) both of Bismarck; grandchildren, Tyler (Laura), Ryan (Carlie), Alex (Savannah) and Allison (Megan); great grandchildren, Nathan, Liam, Hailey, Camden, Evelyn and Millie; siblings, twin sister, Betty, Connie, Sharron, Richard and many nieces and nephews who all held a special place in her heart.

Bunny is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Donnie and Paul; and siblings, Kenny, Myron, Mike, Davie, James and Dennis.

Memorials can be made to the Ronald McDonald House 609 N 7th St, Bismarck, ND 58501 or a charity of your choice in memory of Bunny.
