Cecilia (Kupser) Meyer, 91, Bismarck, passed away peacefully on Jan. 4, 2021 at St. Vincent’s Prospera Community, Bismarck. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 8 at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Pkwy, Bismarck. A service livestream will be available on the funeral home’s website, listed below.

Cecilia was born in Karlsrhue, N.D., on January 1, 1930. She attended Karlsrhue High School and graduated in 1947.

On May 19, 1947, she married Richard. C. Meyer. To this union, 12 children were born. Cecilia worked in the health field for many years in Minnewaukan, Devils Lake, Dunseith and Rugby. She retired at the age of 85 from the Rugby Public Library as a library aide.

She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, sewing and quilting. In her later years, she loved spending time at the casino and visiting her friends.

Cecilia is survived by her 12 children, Frank (Mary), Sharon Noland, Ella (Tedd) Gutzke, Rich (Jan), Bill (Kari), Gene (Theresa), Pat (Carla), Deb (Dale) Duchscherer, Charlie (Julie), Tina (Dave) Gauthier, Tammy (Brian) Wilbur and Sheila (Dave) Baehm; 27 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Kay Witter and Sharon Kupser; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; 12 siblings, Katherine Kupser, Adeline Kupser, Louie Kupser, Theresa Keller, Elizabeth Job, Margaret Horner, Veronica Simon, Rose Steagall, Regina Abel, Phillip Kupser, Eva Feller and Edward Kupser; and two grandsons, Jason Meyer and Brett Duchscherer.
