Chad Geffre, 48, passed away on April 14, 2026, after a brief illness.

A celebration of life will be held on April 17, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Pkwy. There will be no formal service, but rather a gathering of friends and family to share memories and celebrate Chad’s life.

Chad was born on May 1, 1977, in Aberdeen, South Dakota. He grew up with a love for the outdoors and competition, passions that stayed with him throughout his life.

Throughout his working years, Chad held various jobs making hydraulic pressure hoses, a trade he took pride in. Most recently, he worked at Dakota Fluid Power in Mandan, North Dakota, where he was supported by both the company and his coworkers, who meant a great deal to him.

He found great joy in fishing and hunting, and he built lasting friendships through his love of pool, poker, and darts. Chad was a dedicated and talented competitor, participating in tournaments across multiple states. Over the years, he earned numerous wins and was well respected among those who shared his competitive spirit.

In recent years, Chad especially enjoyed playing pool in tournaments in Bismarck, North Dakota, where he continued to connect with friends and fellow players who appreciated both his skill and his camaraderie.

Chad is survived by his mother, Kristie Schnoor (husband Mark) Aberdeen SD; his brother, Lance Geffre (wife Jen) and niece Kaylee Lake George, CO; and many friends and extended family who will miss him dearly.

Chad will be remembered for his love of competition, his friendships, and the many memories he created with those who knew him.
