In 1947, she enrolled at Dickinson College for bookkeeping where she spent a year and a half. It was during this time she met Adam Krebs. Adam passed away on June 19, 1996.

Charlotte was very active and supportive of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She was employed by Dvorak Motors, Schnell Livestock and Montgomery Ward.

She enjoyed working on crafts, making Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls, cabbage patch kids and sewing outfits. In May 2017, she moved to Bismarck and became a resident of Valley View Heights Assisted Living Facility and Missouri Slope Nursing Home.
