Christopher
Britt
Jan 20, 1979 — Nov 6, 2026
Bismarck
January 20, 1979 – November 6, 2026
Christopher James Britt, 47, passed away on November 6, 2026, following a courageous two-year battle with cancer.
Born in Tennessee on January 20, 1979, Christopher spent much of his life in his home state before making North Dakota his home for the past eight years.
Christopher was a devoted family man who loved those closest to him deeply. He had a passion for collecting wrestling and pop culture memorabilia and proudly considered himself a collector of all things that brought him joy. Outside of his family, there were two things he loved more than anything: New England Patriots football and AEW Wrestling. Whether cheering on his favorite team, watching wrestling, or adding to his collection, Christopher found happiness in the things he loved and never hesitated to share that enthusiasm with those around him.
Christopher was a member of First Baptist Church of Bismarck.
He is survived by Mikki Hammitt; his daughter, Ciara Britt; and his stepsons, Caleb and Maxwell Whitaker, all of the family home. He is also survived by his mother, Trinna Foster; his uncle, Marty Britt; his brother, Nathan Foster; his nephews, Johnathan and Ezekiel Foster; and his close friend, Josh Hubble.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Chester and Charlotte Britt, and his uncle, Manuel Britt.
Throughout his two-year battle with cancer, Christopher showed strength and determination while surrounded by those who loved him. His memory will live on through his family, the stories they share, and the many things that made him uniquely Christopher.
In accordance with Christopher's wishes, no services will be held.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Peter Kurniali and the entire Sanford Hematology Department for their care, compassion, and support throughout Christopher's illness.
Christopher will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
