Cindy was born on July 24, 1958, in Linton, ND. She was the fifth child born to Pauline (Bosch) and Markus Wald Jr.

Cindy attended school at Napoleon and graduated from Napoleon High School in 1976. She was voted ‘Most Gullible Senior’ in 1976. She moved to Bismarck, ND after graduation and worked for Basin Electric Power Cooperative. Cindy moved back to live on the family farm in 1979 to work for Kuhn Law. On Sept. 20th, 1980, she married her High School sweetheart, Gary Becker. They created a life on the farm and had four children; Darren, Derrick, Dallas, and Denae. Gary and Cindy moved to Bismarck in 1991. Cindy was rehired at Basin Electric and retired in December 2020.

Cindy enjoyed many things in her life. Her grandchildren were her number one priority and she spoiled them tremendously. She loved her dog, Daizy, and all her grand-puppies. Cindy enjoyed spending time with friends and family, visiting her sister in Arizona, sisters and family in Fargo, and brother in Pelican Rapids. She was a devout Christian and spent a majority of her time praying for friends and family.

Cindy had a heart of gold. She touched the lives of anyone who came in contact with her. She was known to have a smile on her face no matter what obstacle she was facing. Her selflessness will be how she is remembered by friends and family.

She will be greatly missed by her loving husband, Gary; children, Darren Becker, Bismarck, Derrick Becker, Bismarck, Dallas (Matt) Becker, Minneapolis, and Denae (Mike) Monson, Fargo; grandchildren, Kyley and Levi Becker, Charlotte, Carsen, and Collins Monson; siblings, Elmer (Norma) Wald, Pelican Rapids, MN, Vicky (Ron) Nagel, Fountain Hills, AZ, Mary Lou Ohman, Fargo, and Fran (Neal) Mayer, Fargo; mother-in-law, Viola Becker; in-laws, Ron (Lee) Becker, Bismarck, David (Dawn) Becker, Napoleon, Billy (Alicia) Becker, Napoleon, and Julie (Michael) Vetter, Bismarck; and her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, Pauline and Markus; brother, Alden; and father-in-law, Paul Becker.
