Cole Gartner was born on May 21, 1986, at St. Joseph Hospital in Dickinson, North Dakota, to Keith and Lori Gartner. He was raised in Dickinson, where he attended public schools and graduated from Dickinson High School in 2004. Throughout his life, Cole was known as a hardworking individual working many jobs.

On May 11, 2013, Cole married the love of his life, Tiffany Hanson, in Kenmare, North Dakota. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and shared memories. They made their home in Bismarck and later Mandan, where they remained until the time of Cole’s passing.

Cole worked for RBB Electric as an electrician, a career he truly enjoyed. He was dedicated to his work, took great pride in his skills, and was known for doing quality work. Being an electrician was more than just a job to Cole; it was something he genuinely loved and excelled at.

In his free time, Cole enjoyed snow skiing, fishing, riding his wave runner and side-by-side, and spending time at the lake with friends and family. Some of the best moments were simply just relaxing at the lake and enjoying the company of those he loved. Cole was also an avid gamer who enjoyed gaming in his spare time, which he found to be a fun and relaxing way to unwind.

Cole will be deeply missed by his entire loving family, who are reminded through his passing that LIFE IS WAY TOO SHORT. He is survived by his beloved wife, Tiffany Gartner; his parents, Keith and Lori Gartner; his in-laws, Jeff and Roxanne Hanson; his siblings, Rusty (Missy) Gartner and Casey Gartner; his brothers-in-law, J.D. (Lacey) Hanson and Joshua (Carrie) Hanson; his nieces and nephews, Corbin and Arabella Gartner, Lennon, Maddux, and Emersyn Hanson, and Landon, Briella, Kaisen, and Brynna Hanson. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents, Henry and Jeanette Frank and Janis Gartner.

Cole was preceded in death by his grandfather, Donald Gartner.
