Connie Gerrity

Connie Gerrity passed away peacefully at home in the presence of her husband and family after a short battle with brain cancer.

Connie Marie Gerrity (Briggs) was born April 20, 1949 in Williston, ND to Arthur and Phyllis Briggs. She attended Williston High School. She met love of her life when she was 16 while working at Keenan’s Drive-In. They would marry on May 21, 1966 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Trenton, ND. To this marriage they would have three children; Missy Turcotte (Darryl), Tami Berger (Jeff), and Joshua Gerrity (Michelle).

Connie worked many jobs to help support and raise her family including;  B&B drug, Ben Franklin, Mercy Hospital where she was a medical coder, Western Dakota Clinic, and would finish her medical career with Dr. Wayne Anderson.

Connie had a passion gardening and would later go on to run a Lowes Greenhouse in Bismarck, ND.  She also enjoyed crafting and participating in local craft shows with her friends, husband, and daughter.  She used her talents to create porcelain dolls, gnomes, and other items.

Connie’s life was centered around family and would always invite and host holidays and other events for her extended family. She is survived by her spouse Daniel Gerrity, her daughters Missy and Tami, and son Josh.  Her Brother Larry Briggs (Misty).  Her grandchildren; Caleb Turcotte(Shayla), Charmayne Weinmann(Josh), Mickely Matthews(Ariel), Cole Dilworth, Gabby Ahlberg (Dilworth)(Tye), Logan Gerrity, Miranda Gerrity, and Brady Gerrity.  Also numerous nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Phyllis Briggs and older sister Patricia Larson (Briggs).

Going with Connie’s wishes cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
