Connie Louden, 65, Bismarck, ND went to heaven on June 25, 2026, at home surrounded by her family. 

A private memorial will take place at a later date.

Connie was born on September 29, 1960, to Leslie & Velma Anderson. Connie grew up on a farm outside of Sheyenne, ND. She graduated from Sheyenne High School in 1979.

Connie married Joel Olson on August 17, 1979. They raised three children in rural Harvey, ND: Dustin, Travis & Heather.

She worked in many healthcare settings throughout her life. Connie enjoyed serving the residents of the nursing home first as a CNA and then in the Activities department at St. Aloisius in Harvey. Connie moved to Bismarck, ND in 2007 where she continued her healthcare career working for Sanford Hospital and Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center.

Connie married William (Willie) Louden in Las Vegas on July 1, 2020. They resided at their home in Bismarck until her death.

Connie was an excellent cook and enjoyed making her various specialties for her family. These included garlic toast, lefse, hot dishes, cold taco salad, potato sausage, homemade buns, pie crust, kuchen, donuts and large breakfasts with homemade maple syrup.

Connie enjoyed listening to country music, especially Tracy Lawrance, expressing her strong convictions and trips to fabulous Las Vegas with her husband Willie, cousin Debbie and some of her close friends.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

Connie is survived by her husband William; children Dustin (Sarah) Olson of Portland, ND, Travis (Abbey) Olson of Minot, ND and Heather (Benjamin) Crawford of Bismarck, ND; grandchildren Payton Lang, Kyleigh Olson, Julian Olson, Colin Olson and Geneveive Olson; brother Lonnie (Rhonda) Anderson of Fessenden, ND; nephews Jessie Anderson of St. Paul, MN and Jarid (Candice) Anderson of Fessenden, ND; many cousins including her best friend Debbie; as well as and many other friends and relatives.
