Curtis Jungling, 91, of Bismarck, ND, passed away on October 30, 2025. He was born on June 19, 1934, in Bismarck to Reinhold and Alvinia (Hoff) Jungling.
Curtis spent much of his life in Bismarck and surrounding areas, working at Burleigh County for over 20 years. He valued his work and the good people he worked with, taking great pride in all he did. Curtis was an avid lover of the outdoors—whether he was fishing, hunting, or tending to his farm. He grew up in town before moving to the family farm at a young age, and he continued to live a life rooted in nature and hard work.
His love for animals was evident in his care for his cows and the many dogs he had over the years, with his special companion being a dog named Rosco.
Curtis enjoyed bowling in his free time and was a true outdoorsman, finding peace and joy in the simplicity of nature. He was known for his strong work ethic, quiet generosity, and loyalty to his friends and family. He was a member of McCabe United Methodist Church and the Elks Club.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Sanford Health, Miller Pointe, Haycreek Lodge, Edgewood Lakewood, Caring Edge, and all others who helped care for Curtis during his later days.
Curtis is survived by his aunt Elnora Stengel and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Donnie Jungling; aunts and uncles; and one special cousin, Kathy Rodgers.
