Dean J. Adam, 73 of Bismarck passed away November 7, 2024.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, November 14, 2024 at North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan with full military honors.

Dean was born December 13, 1950 in Harvey, ND to Herbert and Lucille (Ytreland) Adam. He was raised on the Adam Homestead south of Drake and graduated from Drake High School.

Dean enlisted in the Army in 1971 and was honorably discharged in 1972. He went on to the North Dakota National Guard from 1988-1996.

Dean has spent the last 40 years in Bismarck working various jobs. Dean will be remembered for his social abilities and his humor. He visited his neighbors daily and always had a story to tell. Some stories got better the more he told them!

Dean will be missed by his brothers, Bob (Karalee) of Bismarck and Gary (Connie) of Utah as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, lifelong partner, Lois Heimann; twin sister, Diane Adam; and brother James “Jim”.
