Della Koski

July 7, 1934 — November 28, 2020

Della Deva Koski, 86, Bismarck, passed away peacefully joining her Heavenly Family on Nov. 28, 2020. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1 at Eastgate Funeral Service, 2302 E Divide Ave, Bismarck.

Burial will be held 1: 30 p.m. Wednesday at Ahola Cemetery, Wing.

She was born on July 7, 1934 to Mile and Helen (Degner) Panjkovich.

Della graduated from Wing High School in 1952. She married Elmer Koski on Oct. 19, 1952 in Wing. They started their life together on the Koski homestead south of Wing. The two were blessed with three children, Roger Allan, Rhonda Melvina and Richard Michael.

Della was an organist for many years at Bethlehem Lutheran Church along with Circle and altar guild. She was active in the Farmer’s Union Local, Burleigh County Democrats, Wing School Library and Burleigh County Senior Citizens where she delivered meals to homes.

Some of her past times were crocheting and quilting quilts for High School graduates.

Della and Elmer enjoyed traveling, especially in the winter to visit friends and family in Nevada, Utah, Arizona and California.

Della is survived by her children, Roger (Chris) Koski, Sun Lakes, Ariz., Rhonda (Steve) Gackle, Grand Forks, and Richard (Arliss) Koski, Wing; grandchildren, Patrick (Shannon) Koski, Bismarck, Maria (Eric) Brown, Sioux Falls, Bennett (Christine) Gackle, Vancouver, MaKayla Koski, Makoti, Lauren Koski, Wing, Jade Koski, Wing, and Trey Koski, Wing; two great-granddaughters, Piper Koski and Jane Brown.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer; her parents; brother, Melvin; and grandson, Brandon.
