Delores (Dee) Jacober, 93, Bismarck, passed December 20, 2025.
There will be a private celebration of life with family.
Delores was born on June 20, 1932, at Linton, ND, to Ted and Anna (Lang) Schuler. In 1933 they moved to Underwood, ND, where her dad worked in coal mines and was a farmer. She went to country rural school, and in 1944 they moved to Mandan, ND, where her dad worked on the railroad and she continued her education in Mandan.
Delores married Larry Reis on October 6, 1951, and made their home in Bismarck, ND, and raised three daughters. In 1981 she married Ken Jacober, where Ken was a city mail carrier. Ken died on June 19, 1995.
She worked at JCPenney, Woolworth, and Two + Two Jewelry Store, and then retired in 1991.
She then became an RSVP volunteer for Catholic Family Service. In 1993 she became a volunteer at the Bismarck Senior Center for 20 years, and in 2008 she received the Ma Werner Award for her volunteer hours, time, and dedication to the senior center.
She enjoyed spending a lot of her time with her family, playing cards, fishing, sewing, and music. She enjoyed time spent with her friends at the senior center and at Crescent Manor, where she lived until she passed.
She is survived by her daughters, Debbie (Philip) Wanner, Donna (Joe) Kramer, Laurie Reis; friend Rick Ludwig; four grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ted and Anna Schuler; husband, Kenneth Jacober; brothers, Elmer Schuler and Ronald Schuler.; mother-in-law, Elsie Maj; brothers-in-law, Roy Drescher and Boyd Slaughter; sisters-in-law, Ruth Slaughter, Dee Drescher, and Betty Schuler; and stepdaughter, Linda Brusven.
