Diane J. Lapp, after a brave fight, succumbed to her cancer on Nov. 9, 2021, at 65. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday Nov. 16, at First Lutheran Church, 800 N Seventh St, Bismarck. Pastor Allen Wagner will be officiating. Diane was born September 6, 1956, to Alfred and Eldora Patterson. She was raised and educated in the Bismarck area. She touched many hearts throughout her life of her family, friends, and co-workers alike.

For the last 20 years she worked at St. Alexius Hospital in Environmental Services. In the Spring 2021, she was diagnosed with stage four cancer.

Diane is survived by her son, Brandon Lapp and granddaughter, Gwendalyn; daughter, Trina and son-in-law, Pat Gilhooly; grandsons, Rylan and Bryson; sister, Nancy (Kent) Danielson; brothers, Harlan (Deb) Patterson, Alan (Shirley) Patterson, John Patterson, Edmund (Sharman) Patterson; and many more friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale E. Lapp; father and mother, Alfred and Eldora Patterson, and brother, Stanley Patterson.
