Dolores Knoll, 88, Mandan, passed away Monday, January 1, 2024, at Knife River Care Center, Beulah.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 6 at Christ the King Church, Mandan.

Recitation of the rosary will begin at 4:30 p.m. Friday, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Pkwy, Bismarck. Visitation will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Friday with a prayer service and a time for sharing of memories beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Burial will be held at Mandan Union Cemetery, Mandan.

Dolores was born August 8, 1935 in Bismarck to Victor and Veronica (Gerhardt) Moynier. She was raised and educated in Bismarck, attending St. Mary’s Catholic Schools.

Dolores loved camping and spending time with family and friends. She loved attending her grandchildren’s extracurricular activities and was a huge fan and follower of St. Mary’s and Mandan sports programs.

She was an avid fan of the Minnesota Vikings and was often heard yelling at the TV and pacing the room during the games.

Dolores also enjoyed playing bridge with friends.

She served on the St. Mary’s Alumni Association for many years and was inducted into the St. Mary’s Hall of Fame in 2006.

She was the office manager and dedicated employee of Ward Williston Drilling Company for many years before her retirement in 1990.

Dolores is survived by her daughter, Janice (Bob) Larson, Underwood; sons, Tom (Lynn) Knoll, Bettendorf, IA, Dave (Lori) Knoll, Beulah, and Robert (Greta) Knoll, Mandan; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Marlene (Gene) Koon, Willows, CA; and brother, Rick (Mary) Robinson, Bismarck.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene (Corky) Knoll; her parents; step-father, Don Robinson; brother, Dale Robinson; sister, Jacque (John) Jensen; and great-granddaughter, Eva Marie Cook.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sakakawea Hospice or Knife River Care Center in Beulah.
