Donna was born June 3, 1970, in Turtle Lake, to Donald and Lana Ebach. She grew up and graduated from McClusky in 1988. December 23rd of 1992 is when her son Jason Scott Laib was born. In the years to come she had various jobs.
She later married Ed Baker on July 20th 1998 and they made their home in McClusky raising their now new blended family of six. Watching their family grow with grandchildren. After Ed's passing in 2008 Donna continued to live in McClusky before moving to Mandan to be closer to son Jason and new granddaughter, Stella. In 2021, Donna met Steve who then brightened her world, helping her through many tough times but most importantly helping her find happiness in life again.
Donna, over the years, took pride in supporting her niece, nephews and grandchildren in their sporting and music events: rain or shine. She enjoyed taking small trips with her mother to visit family and friends, of course not passing up the chance to sight see. The last few years she spent her days with granddaughter Stella often as they enjoyed coloring and learning the alphabet and numbers. They liked doing puzzles, making crafts and laughing. Donna and Steve enjoyed going to rodeos, Medora, mini road trips, watching football, (Dallas Cowboys) fishing, when possible, and having fun with Stella. In her personal time she loved her crocheting and listening to old 80’s Country music.
Donna is survived by Steve Brown, boyfriend; granddaughter, Stella Gawryluk; stepchildren, Justin (Jessica) Baker, Joshua (Brandi) Baker, Chelsea (Jim) Wilcox; grandchildren: Parker, Aiden, Karliegh, Karter, Kaisley, Grayson, Braxton, Ashton, Wrigley, and Addison; father Donald (Susan) Ebach; brothers, Daniel (Colleen) Ebach, Darren (Stephanie) Ebach; nieces and nephews: Branden (Sadie Frame, Drayton, Wheeler, baby girl) Ebach, Sharmayne (Adam, Eva) Erhardt, Eryn (Dylan Kern) Ebach, Anthony (Hannah) Ebach, Aimee (Tyler Martin) Ebach, Michael Ebach, Katelyn (Kyler Pazdernik) Ebach, Zachary Ebach and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by son, Jason Laib; husband, Ed Baker; mother, Lana Ebach; maternal grandparents Alex & Harriet Mears and paternal grandparents Anton & Margaret Ebach.
