Doreen G. Fairchild, 68, passed away on June 23, 2024. 

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 20, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Pkwy, Bismarck. 

Doreen was born December 8, 1955 to Dale and Clara (Dockter) Fairchild. She was born, raised, and educated in the Driscoll, ND area and graduated from Driscoll High School in 1974. After graduation, she worked at North American Coal and also at ANG Coal working as a draftsperson. In 1984 she was forced to retire due to illness. Doreen had a great love for her dog, Chelcy.

Doreen is survived by her brother, Alan (Marsha) Fairchild, Livingston, MT; nieces and nephews, Shane (Lea) Fairchild, Tracy (Cherie) Fairchild, Terry (Donna) Fairchild; great-nieces and great-nephews, Andrea, Madison, Jennifer, Michael (Madyson), and Jessica; great-great nieces and nephews, McCoy, Macade, and Mia. 

Doreen was preceded in death by her parents, Clara and Dale.

Honorary urn bearers are Curtis Eichele, Tracy, Terry and Shane Fairchild, Greg Nelson, Wendalin “Flash” Krause, Valaree (King) Winn, Jackie Lomen, and Gail Fahlgren.
