Dorothy Fuchs, Omaha, NE, formerly of New Salem, ND, died October 22, 2017, at Sanford Health, Bismarck. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, November 3, at Peace Church, 410 Elm Ave., New Salem. Burial will be held at Lutheran Cemetery, New Salem. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Cremation has taken place. Dorothy is survived by her sons, Dane (Deb), Dale (Lori), and Robert (Dianna); her grandchildren, Haley (J.C.) Steffan, Austin (Sierra) Fuchs, Jada, Hayden, Leisette Fuchs, Aleah (Tyler) Rohlfsen, Tara (Chauncy) Schultz, and Jordan Papp; great-grandchildren, Eila Jean and Hattie Rose; brother, Ronald Heid; brothers-in-law, Arlon and Les (Bettie) Fuchs; sister-in-law, Laverne Hamilton; and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ollie; her grandson, Jonathan; her parents, William and Elsie (Kukuk) Heid; her parents-in-law, Edward and Amelia Fuchs; sisters, Mildred Conitz and Anna Kottsick; brother, Wilbert Heid; nephews, Jeffrey Heid and Dean Schmidt; nieces, Heather Nelsen and Kylee Elovitz; sisters-in-law, Sandy Heid, Jeannette and Ruth Fuchs, Colleen Heid; brothers-in-law, Wallace Conitz, Ben Kottsick, and Charles Hamilton.
