Douglas J. “Futch” Schell, 56, Bismarck, died January 30, 2018, at Sanford Health, Bismarck. A gathering and sharing of memories celebrating Doug’s life will be held on Saturday, February 3, from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck. Bring an old photo of Futch, if you would like! Cremation has taken place.  Interment will be in the spring at the Glencoe Cemetery. Doug was born on March 30, 1961, in Bismarck, the son of Richard D. and Doris (Giovannoni) Schell. He was raised and attended schools in Bismarck and graduated from Bismarck High School in 1979. Following his graduation, Doug worked in various jobs as a carpenter. Doug lived life in his own way, to the fullest. Doug is survived by his mother, Doris; his sister, Denise (Bob) Schuh; his brothers, Dan (Laurie) and Dennis; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.
