Edwin "Eddie" Wanner, 81, of Palmer, Alaska, passed away on March 8, 2024.

Edwin, the son of Karl J. and Christina (Wanner) Wanner, was born on April 30, 1942, in Wishek, North Dakota. He was raised and educated in Hazelton.

Eddie served in the US Air Force. He later lived in Alaska where he enjoyed fishing and restoring tractors. Eddie was also an avid traveler, visiting many countries where he liked meeting people and taking photographs.

He is survived by his brother, Edward Wanner of Hazelton, North Dakota; and two sisters, Hilda Shorey of Muskego, Wisconsin, and Magdalena Semonis of Racine, Wisconsin.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters; and five brothers.

A committal service for Edwin will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at Fairview Cemetery in Bismarck, North Dakota.
