Elhard Schock, 90, passed away on August 31, 2026, at a local hospital with his brother by his side.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00PM on Monday, September 14, at the Langedahl Cemetery in Tuttle, ND. 

Elhard was the third son born to Fred and Caroline (Krein) on January 1, 1936, of Tuttle, N.D. Elhard attended rural schools. He farmed with his father. After moving to Steele, he worked in maintenance at Camp Grassick near Dawson for several years. For the last almost three years, he resided in the Golden Manor Care Center in Steele. He enjoyed reading westerns and watching TV.

He is survived by brothers Oscar (Sue) and Roy (LaDonna), and two sisters, Leona Rowe and Gladys (Paul) Stramer, along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Ted (Virginia), Leonard (Karen), and Edwin (Sharon).
