Esther Hausauer, 94, Bismarck, died July 16, 2019, at Sanford Health, Bismarck.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm Sunday, July 21, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm Saturday, July 20, at Parkway Funeral Service. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck.

Esther E. Hausauer was born February 18, 1925, near Regan, ND, the daughter of Edward and Katie Hochhalter. She was raised and educated near Regan. Esther married Clarence Hausauer on November 9, 1943, at Wibaux, MT. They farmed northwest of Regan where they raised their four children. In 1989 they moved to Bismarck.

Esther is survived by her 10 grandchildren, Jason and Chad Hausauer, Kristine Ell, Kerby Hausauer, Kent Hausauer, Lori Zimmerman, Cindy Van Ballegooyen, Donall Hosna, Mary Riczo, and Wanda Boomgarden; one sister, Verna Johnson; daughter-in-law, Beverly Hausauer; two sisters-in-law, Arlene Hausauer and Ruth Knowlen.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence; three sons, James, Richard, and Donald; daughter, Helen; grandson, Troy; her parents; and two brothers, Alvin and Lawrence Hochhalter.
