Germaine Sibla, age 87, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2025, in Glen Ullin, North Dakota.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Germaine Sibla will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 9, 2025, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Glen Ullin, North Dakota.

Born on July 1, 1937, in Glen Ullin, Germaine was raised and educated in the community she loved and called home throughout her life. On November 8, 1955, she married Kenneth Sibla. Together, they built a life rooted in their Catholic faith, love and hard work, raising six children in Glen Ullin.

Germaine was widely known for her dedication to health and wellness through her longtime involvement with Shaklee. Her passion for helping others live healthier lives earned her not only the admiration of many but also numerous awards, including several incentive cars and travel opportunities. She approached her work with enthusiasm and a deep desire to make a difference.

A devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, Germaine was always quick to offer a helping hand—whether it was providing care for family members or lending her exceptional cleaning skills. Known for her meticulous attention to detail, she took pride in keeping things spotless. Her sharp wit, infectious laughter, and warm hugs made every visit memorable. She was generous with her time, kind in spirit, and a comforting presence to all who knew her.

Germaine’s legacy of compassion, humor, and service will live on in the hearts of those she touched.

Germaine is survived by her devoted husband of 69 years, Kenneth Sibla, and their six children: Brian (Mary) Sibla, Kim (Steve) Glasser, Bruce Sibla, Kari (Gene) Glasser, Brad (Janeene) Sibla, and Nick (Nona) Sibla. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Nicole (Sevrin) Tibor, Tanner (Jessica) Sibla, Gary (Kari) Glasser, Kent (Klarissa) Glasser, Jessica Miller, Shantel Glasser, Amber Sibla, Corey (Joren) Sibla, Courtney (Andrew) Kraft, Kayzanne (Preston) Hewitt, Matthew (Anniina) Binegar, Nikki (Tim) Green, Jackson Binegar, and Dr. Nash (Amber) Binegar, and she was blessed with numerous great-grandchildren who brought her great joy. She leaves behind four sisters, Eleanor Wagner, Florence Veitenheimer, Loreine Geck, Caroline Opp, and Angie Reed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lucas and Angelina Meuchel, as well as five brothers and four sisters.

Germaine’s family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at the Marion Manor Nursing Home for the compassionate care she received, with special appreciation to her daughter Kari for her unwavering devotion and support.
