Gloria Ann Hoff

August 23, 1952 - November 11, 2023

Bismarck, ND - Gloria Ann Hoff, a devoted parent aide and beloved member of the community, passed away on November 11, 2023, at the age of 71. Born on August 23, 1952, in Bismarck, Gloria was the cherished daughter of John and Gladys (Lang) Ehli.

Gloria had a vibrant and fulfilling life, leaving a lasting impact on those who had the pleasure of knowing her. After graduating from Bismarck High School in 1970, Gloria married the love of her life, Gary Hoff, on October 10, of the same year. Together, they shared a beautiful journey filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

As a dedicated mother, Gloria delighted in raising their daughter, Amanda Keyser, with love and devotion. When Amanda began her schooling, Gloria embarked on a fulfilling career, working as a CNA at the Baptist Home and St. Vincent's Hospital. Her passion for helping others ultimately led her to a meaningful role as a parent aide at Burleigh County Social Services, where she served for nearly three decades, providing support and guidance to countless families in need.

In 2017, Gloria retired to care for Gary, who sadly passed away on October 3, 2019. Despite the challenges she faced, Gloria's strength and resilience never wavered. Her unwavering dedication to her family and her ability to find joy in life's simple pleasures were truly inspiring.

In her leisure time, Gloria had a passion for cross-stitching, crocheting, and baking. Her delectable pumpkin dessert was a favorite among friends and family, and she took great pleasure in sharing her culinary creations with loved ones. Gloria also had a love for cars, which stemmed from the early days of her courtship with Gary. She even indulged in her own Black Mustang Convertible, a symbol of her adventurous spirit.

An avid shopper, Gloria frequented her favorite stores, such as Herbergers, Gordmans, Ross, and TJ Maxx, where she was greeted by name and formed lasting friendships with the staff members. Her loved ones often marveled at her keen fashion sense and impeccable taste.

Gloria's legacy lives on through her daughter, Amanda "Mandy" Keyser, her adoring grandsons, Alexander John Hoff and Riley Hoff, and her son-in-law, Albert Keyser. She also leaves behind her beloved sister, Beverly Doll, as well as her siblings Virginia Cook, Charlotte Bender, Anita Emil, and Michael Ehli, all of Bismarck. In addition, Gloria is survived by her sister-in-law, Violet Redlaczyk of Bellvue, MI, and many nieces and nephews.

Gloria was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gary, her parents, and her siblings Raymond Ehli, Barbara Reis, and Linda Gebhardt. She was also predeceased by her brothers-in-law Edwin Bender, Cam Doll, and James Gebhardt.

A celebration of Gloria's life will take place on Thursday at 10:00 am at Faith Lutheran Church in Bismarck. Prior to the funeral service, a visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Parkway Funeral Service, where a prayer service will commence at 7:00 pm.

Gloria Ann Hoff will forever be remembered for her unwavering love, her incredible resilience, and her indomitable spirit. Her memory will be eternally cherished by those fortunate enough to have known her. May she rest in peace.
