Isabel (Rohrich) Glass, 92, Bismarck, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2019 after a brief stay at the Baptist Health Care Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 13, at Church of the Ascension, 1911 S 3^rd St, Bismarck.

Family will start greeting guests from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 12, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Pkwy, Bismarck. A rosary/vigil service will begin at 7:00 p.m.

Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bismarck.

Isabel was born on May 31, 1927 to Frank and Elizabeth (Dosch) Rohrich on a farm south of Strasburg. She attended beauty school in Bismarck and married Edmund Glass on November 22, 1949 in Linton.

Together they owned a beauty/barber shop in Linton until their move to Wishek and then Bismarck. Isabel then worked at Herberger’s Dept. Store until her retirement.

Isabel was a woman of deep faith. She loved life with her family and friends. Her enjoyments included dancing, cooking and traveling. She especially loved talking on the phone with her brother Ed and playing cards with her special friend Elaine.

Isabel is survived by her children, Kevin (Jill Jaran) Moneta, VA; Janet (Sterling) Keller, Bismarck; Clyde (Judy) Rath, Bismarck; Sherri, Mandan; Elizabeth, Bismarck; six grandchildren, Jennifer (Tom) Keating, Lindsey (Tom) Kaufman, Jessica (Chris) Linberg, Angela (Keith) Kennedy, Andrew (Dave) Glass, and Andrea (Bill) Gladson; and nine beautiful great-grandchildren.

She was a mother figure to many of her children’s friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edmund; son, Mark; siblings, Tony Rohrich, Gen Horner, Regina Braun, and Anna Mary Mastel.
