Isabella Vetter, 89, Bismarck, passed away Jan. 19, 2022. Mass of Christian burial will be held 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 24 at Church of Corpus Christi, 1919 N Second St., Bismarck. A service livestream will be available on the church’s Facebook page.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Pkwy, Bismarck. A rosary/vigil service will be held at 7 p.m.
Burial will be held 1 p.m. Monday at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan.
Isabella attended rural school in Emmons County, southwest of Linton. In 1955 she married Valentine Vetter. The two lived in Bismarck for most of their married life. Isabella was a homemaker and a seamstress throughout her career. After her children left home, she worked at Arrowhead Cleaners as a seamstress.
She is survived by her husband, Valentine; children, Clarence (Beth) Vetter, East Grand Forks, Minn., Marlene (Tom) Janzer, Mandan, and Marvin Vetter, Bismarck; son-in-law, Leroy Siverson; seven grandchildren, Christina (Tony) Flippance, Fargo, Cinnamon (Patrick Stewart) Janzer, Minneapolis, Minn., Steven (Nicole) Siverson, Rhame, Mandi Tipton, Mandan, Paige (Nick) Korynta, East Grand Forks, Minn., Phillip Vetter, East Grand Forks, Minn., and Grace Vetter, Bloomington, Minn.; four great-grandchildren, Adeline Flippance, Lincoln Tipton, Letty Siverson and Kali Siverson; sister, Mary Vetter; brother, Elias Vetter; and sisters-in-law, Tillie Vetter and Johanna Vetter.
Isabella was preceded in death by her daughter, Pat; her parents, Conrad and Agatha (Nagel) Vetter; sisters, Eva (Tony) Schumacher, Tillie (Wedelin) Mosset, Regina (Pius) Getz and Johanna (Joe) Hilzendeger; and brothers, Matt Vetter, Joe (Louise) Vetter and Sebald Vetter; and sister-in-law, Alwine Vetter.
