Jackie Kraft Kolpack lost her fight with depression on November 13, 2025 at her home in Sandy, Utah.

Jackie was born in Breckenridge, MN on December 26, 1967. She grew up in Watford City and Bismarck, ND. She graduated from Bismarck High School in 1986 and from Moorhead State University in 1992.

She married Dave Kolpack on May 11, 1992 but later divorced. She was employed by Noridian Insurance and moved to Salt Lake City, UT in 2006.

She was a voracious reader, some called her a reader on steroids. She left many books and book markers to pass on. She also had a cat that only she could love. She also had a deep love for McKenzie Bay.

She will be missed by all who loved her. Her parents John and Jean Kraft, brother and wife Jason and Michelle, sister and husband Jeryn and John Hooey, along with four nephews and one niece who shared her December 26th birthday with and made her a great aunt.

Jackie was preceded in death by her niece Alyssa, four uncles and grandparents.

No memorial service is planned.

Her life will be celebrated at a private gathering later.
