Jean Hoskins, 83, Bismarck, died September 12, 2017, at CHI St. Alexius Health, Bismarck. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, September 18, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck. Burial will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck. There will be no visitation, as cremation has taken place. Jean was born June 7, 1934, in Temvik, ND, the daughter of Adolph and Katherine (Miller) Zoller. She was raised and educated in the Temvik and Linton areas. While working in Chicago, she met Robert Dean Hoskins, and the couple was married on May 26, 1956, in Bismarck. They had three children, Iris Lee Fry, Robert “Dean” Hoskins Jr., and Bryan “Scott” Hoskins. Following Bob’s retirement from the military, the family moved back to North Dakota. In 1978, they moved to Bismarck, where Jean has resided since. Jean enjoyed camping, road trips, and visiting with family. She is survived by her son, Robert “Dean” Hoskins and his friend, Sandra, Bismarck; her grandchildren, Robert Dean Hoskins III, Bismarck, and Desiree Nicole (Fry) and Joey Mayer, New Salem; her sisters, Frances (Wilfred) Eberhart, Eureka, SD, and Deloris Dahl, Las Vegas; her brother, Arnold Zoller, Linton; and numerous nieces and nephews. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hoskins Sr.; daughter, Iris Fry; son, Scott Hoskins; parents; and siblings.
