Jeanette K. Bauer, 80, of Bismarck, passed away November 1, 2025, at home surrounded by her family and friends.

Jeanette Katthleen Bauer was born September 25, 1945, in Mandan, ND, the daughter of George and Maggie Kautzman. She was raised and educated in Mandan.

Jeanette married Celestine E. Bauer in Mandan on June 25, 1966. She worked at Northridge School for 32 years and at The Terrace Basic Living Community for 15 years.

Jeanette enjoyed working in her garden, doing puzzles, and scrapbooking. She especially loved spending time with her family and friends.

Jeanette is survived by her two daughters and son-in-law, Denise and Steve Miller, Bismarck, ND, and Michelle Tuhy of Bismarck, ND; two grandchildren, Dennis Kuntz and Dustin (Ashley) Kuntz; and great-granddaughter, Diana Kuntz; four sisters and their husbands , Marleen and Ruben Schaaf, Evelyn and David Michels, Georgena and David Keller, and Debbie and Brent Geiss; and one brother, Marvin Kautzman.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Celestine; her parents, George and Maggie Kautzman; one sister, Gloria; one brother, Leslie; and sister-in-law, Josephine.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 10:00 AM, Ascension Catholic Church, 1905 S 3rd St, Bismarck, ND. 

A visitation will be held at 5-7 PM, with a Rosary/Vigil starting at 6 PM on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Pkwy, Bismarck.

Burial will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery.
