Jeffrey Lynn Doggett, 74, of Bismarck, ND, passed away on April 27, 2026 with family by his side. Over the past several years, he battled cancer with strength and hope.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, May 18, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Pkwy, Bismarck, ND. A private family burial will be held at a later date.

Jeff was born to Darrell and Betty (Holstrom) Doggett on September 21, 1951, in Oakes, ND. He grew up on the family farm near Guelph and graduated from Guelph High School in 1969. He went on to attend Valley City State University and NDSU–Bottineau. Jeff retired from Midwest Tire and Muffler in 2015, after a 35-year career working in Rapid City, South Dakota, and Bismarck, North Dakota. He was a hard worker who took great pride in his work. He enjoyed helping his customers and traveling his route through western North Dakota.

He married Teri Lunde in 1989 and they were blessed with a daughter, Calli Lyn. He was a devoted husband, dad, grandpa, brother, and friend, and was known for going out of his way to help others. He was an excellent cook and enjoyed grilling. He looked forward to family trips to the lake in Minnesota and took great pride in working in the yard and planting flowers. He enjoyed hunting trips, as well as watching a good football game and having a cold beer. While a dedicated fan of the NDSU Bison, he was also a loyal supporter of the Minnesota Vikings and the Boston Celtics. In quieter moments, he could often be found watching classic westerns or hunting shows. Above all, he treasured time with his wife, his daughter and her husband Daniel, grandson Noah, and granddog Oshie. His family was truly his pride and joy.

He is survived by his wife Teri; their daughter Calli (Daniel) Kraak; grandson Noah; brother Kenny (Julie) Doggett; sister Sandy (Mark) Young; stepbrother Daryl (Ethel) Erickson; stepsister Becky (Jeff) LeDoux; sisters-in-law Tami (Dean) Milbrath, Teresa Doggett; his nieces, Jenna (Travis) Nelson, Stephanie (Jesse) Kittleson, Heather (Matthew) Drader, Cassie Sandberg, Wendy (Keith) Hauff, Sadie (Justin) Cronin, Mary Doggett, Erica (Mike) Erickson, Jenna (Zackary) Ruzycki, Jessica (Ethan) Schnabel, Carley (Austin) Truso, and nephews, Jake Doggett, Joel (Emily) Erickson and Jesse Doggett along with many great nieces & nephews.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Darrell and Betty; stepmother Cleone; brother Glenn; stepbrother Doug Erickson; mother- and father-in-law, Lyle and Merle Lunde; and his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Kristi and Steve Sandberg.
